This pivotal position ensures compliance, safety, sustainability, and operational excellence while fostering a proactive safety culture and delivering exceptional services to all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement integrated HSE and Facilities strategies aligned with business goals while ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and internal policiesLead strategic planning for facilities and estates management, overseeing maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, and infrastructure development across all sitesManage comprehensive HSE programs including risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations to maintain the highest safety standardsLead and develop cross-functional teams across HSE and Facilities, including Security, Catering, and Hygiene Teams, providing guidance and development opportunitiesOversee budget management for all facilities and estates operations, ensuring effective resource utilization, accurate contractor invoicing, and value-driven procurementChampion a positive safety culture through leadership, training initiatives, and stakeholder engagement across all organizational levelsManage key service contracts including Security, Catering, Cleaning, and Waste Management to ensure optimal performance and complianceRequirementsMinimum 10 years' experience in Health, Safety and Estates management with demonstrated success in budget management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagementComprehensive understanding of end-to-end FMCG or Pharmaceutical operations with proven expertise in conducting multi-domain audits (Risk Assessments, QSE, Security)Demonstrated ability to manage complex facilities projects including refurbishments, renovations, and new construction initiativesExtensive knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, building regulations, fire safety standards, and environmental compliance requirementsStrong financial acumen with experience in budget management, procurement, and contractor relationship managementProven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives and driving organizational changeExperience with CAFM software, energy management systems, and sustainable facilities practicesKey BehaviorsCreates collaborative partnerships across teams and organizations, building influential networks throughout the businessDemonstrates a positive, solution-oriented mindset that exemplifies Britvic Ireland Values in all interactionsTakes decisive action when needed while motivating others to do the sameFacilitates positive relationships between colleagues and stakeholders at all organizational levelsIdentifies and capitalizes on strategic opportunities that benefit the organizationLeads with integrity and transparency, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learningDemonstrates resilience and adaptability when facing challenges or changing prioritiesEducation/QualificationsThird-level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Building Services, Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering)Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), PMP (Project Management Professional), or CEng (Chartered Engineer)Advanced training in health and safety management, risk assessment, and environmental complianceDemonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and best practicesProficiency with facilities management software, building management systems, and relevant technology platformsApply now »
