In this role you will be Under the direction of a Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) Manager or Director, assist a Project or Program Manager in ensuring that site-specific SH&E plans, workplaces, and operational tasks being conducted conform to Parsons' risk management practices and comply with prevailing regulatory and client SH&E requirements.What You'll Be DoingAssists the project or program manager with administering the SH&E programs.Audits the project or program and its worksites against corporate standards.Inspects worksites to detect hazards; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.Creates and submits written audit and inspection reports.Monitors project or program work planning and performance; verifies planning and work performance conforms to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.Implements Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.Performs trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; creates and submits regular analysis reports.Assists the project or program manager with new hire orientation.Performs regulatory and best practice SH&E training.Creates and maintains SH&E training records.Participates in routine safe work briefings.What Required Skills You'll BringBachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
