Your responsibilities: This is a hybrid engineer role (Automation 50%, Manual 50%):Test Planning & Strategy: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing across web, mobile, and hybrid applications.Automation Development: Build, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.) to improve test efficiency and coverage.Manual Testing: Perform hands-on manual testing to identify issues, validate functionalities, and verify defect fixes in web and mobile applications.Continuous Integration & Delivery: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration (CI) pipelines and support agile development practices.Defect Management: Identify, log, and manage defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure testing activities align with product releases and business goals.Test Environment Management: Set up, manage, and maintain test environments, ensuring accurate test data is available for various testing scenarios.Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, offering advice on test approaches, tools, and best practices.Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve overall testing effectiveness and team productivity.Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed test documentation, including test cases, test results, and test plans, to ensure transparency and traceability of testing activities.II. Your Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.5+ years of experience in software quality assurance,Expertise in manual and automated testing techniques, with a solid understanding of test frameworks and tools (Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).Strong proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.) for test automation.Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a bonusUpper-intermediate English skillIII.
