ResponsibilitiesReporting to the MEP Team Leader, the Senior Plumbing Engineer will be responsible to lead for delivery of projects in the Vietnam market and potentially overseas markets.He/She will work closely with the MEP Team Leader to ensure the continued growth of the MEP Team offering and will be responsible to take technical and commercial ownership of projects assigned.Contribute to the growth of Arup’s Plumbing Team ensuring that the Team structure is consistent with workload and the requirements of our Clients (internal and external);Implement technical project reviews ensuring high attention to QA/QC of technical deliverables;Undertake project coodinator of large scale MEP projects;Liaise with project stakeholders including Clients, Architects, Quantity Surveyors etc;Provide technical support to the Business Development effort including bid preparation, scope monitoring and participation in technical negotiations;Participate in resource planning, ensuring a suitable resource fit for existing and potential new projects;Participation in senior management meetings as required;Other duties as may be assigned from time to timeQualificationsAbove 12 years relevant working experience in plumbing/fire protection design field;Bachelor degree in Plumbing Engineering;Preference will be given to candidates with relevant professional qualifications or a Master Degree in a related field;Require professional design certificate.Require English skill (spoken & written);Knowledge and experience in the design of Data Centre and/or Infrastructure will be an advantage .Holding relevant certificates issued by Uptime/ TIA or others recognisable international organizations in the data center industry/ high-tech industry is a significant advantage.Arup is a global firm of designers, engineers, architects, planners, consultants and technical specialist with more than 14,000 people in 88 offices across 33 countries.
