TCL Design Innovation Center WebsiteAbout the Company - The Design innovation Center (DlC) is the Corporate Design HQ of TCL Group, spearheading the design vision across a broad portfolio of global products and services.Responsibilities:Be responsible for the overall planning and formulation of the industrial design language for all product categories, and translate it into design solutions for specific NPI projects in each business unit, including: design trend insights, product design innovation, color schemes, design implementation standards, etc.Comprehensively manage multiple projects, allocate teams as needed, set project goals, monitor progress and design quality, meet the requirements of the product line, and support the design implementation of business projects. Coordinate multiple teams and lead the design direction of projects.Deeply understand the global market and related cultural differences, and be able to put forward creative designs and solutions for cross-category product lines targeted at different countries and regions.Facilitate significant breakthroughs in the industrial design of all major home appliance product categories. Conduct design management work in aspects such as new forms, new functions, and new aesthetics, play a leading role, and make important contributions to the commercial success of products and the enhancement of brand potential.Adopt an open - innovation model to integrate knowledge and technological resources. Meanwhile, manage innovative intellectual property rights to ensure the transformation of achievements.Be responsible for team building and management, establish a talent pipeline, cultivate successors and expert - level designers with unique features and expertise. Continuously enhance the team's key capabilities through platform building, training and other means.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or above from renowned educational institutions both in China and overseas, majoring in industrial design, product design or related fields. With more than 10 years of industrial design experience and 5 years of team management experience (preferred if the management scope is 30 - 40 people).Possess experience within industries such as major branded home appliances and consumer electronics, and having won important international awards. Those with industrial design experience in well-known brand companies both in China and overseas (such as Siemens, Samsung, Lenovo, Haier, Midea, Hisense, etc.) will be given priority consideration.Possess rich theoretical knowledge and a high - level of design capabilities. Through industrial design innovation in dimensions such as form, materials, color, and human-machine interaction, put forward new design concepts and solutions, and jointly construct the high-end aesthetic design language of the TCL brand.Possess relatively mature project management capabilities, being able to coordinate resources from various aspects such as the design team, manufacturing team, and marketing team, and promote the successful implementation of design projects.Possess keen market insight, as well as management and operation thinking, and bring more competitive advantages and business opportunities to TCL products.Possess an open-minded and creative way of thinking. Be able to integrate resources and information from multiple fields such as users, the market, and technology, formulate effective design strategies, and control the design direction.Demonstrate strong resilience under pressure. Possess passion, enthusiasm and infectiousness for innovation.
