SLB Capturi is a global leader in carbon capture technology. We work with a wide range of carbon-emitting industries, including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power. Through our portfolio of projects, we help mitigate the environmental impact of industrial activity, driving a cleaner and more sustainable future.As demand for carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) grows, more customers turn to SLB Capturi to solve their emissions challenges. We are one of the few companies worldwide with deep expertise across the entire CCUS value chain. Our projects span research and innovation, pilot plant testing, concept studies, and large-scale EPC projects in Europe and the United States.Currently, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe with a combined capacity of 1 million tons of CO₂. This includes five Just Catch 100 units for Ørsted in Denmark, one for Twence in the Netherlands, and a Big Catch unit for Heidelberg Materials in Norway.Are you an experienced and dedicated Senior Instrumentation Engineer passionate about making a difference and leveraging technology to combat climate change?The scope of work:As our new Instrumentation Engineer, you will:Manage technical procurement of instruments, including equipment specifications, bid evaluations, and supplier follow-upHandle and resolve site queries on CCUS projectsCollaborate with multi-location teams of instrumentation engineers, including field engineersCoordinate instrumentation scope with other disciplines, partners, suppliers, and installation contractorsContribute to standardization and efficient execution of CCUS projectsIdentify opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining quality and scheduleYour QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control & Automation Engineering (or similar)Minimum 3 years of relevant project experienceExpertise in ISO, EN, ATEX, IEC, and other international standards for instrumentation, control, and automation systemsMultidisciplinary understanding of layout and system-related aspectsExperience in instrumentation cabling, cable tray layouts, and related activitiesKnowledge of functional safety (IEC61511), safety systems, SIL loops, fire and gas detection systems is an advantageFamiliarity with FTIR, Gas Chromatograph, mass & ultrasonic flowmeters, and gas/smoke detectors is a plusStrong analytical mindset with ability to apply standardized solutions for optimal designPreferably experience in land-based industryYou AreSelf-driven and passionate about environmental projectsCollaborative and able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholdersFlexible with tasks and open to practical fieldwork when requiredFluent in written and spoken EnglishWork location: Fornebu, NorwayContract: 6 months initial, with options for extensionStart Date: 1 December 2025 (latest start: 2 January 2026)What We OfferThis is more than a job—it’s a chance to actively contribute to the industrial energy transition.
