The company you will be working forA global specialty chemicals company with a strong international footprint is currently strengthening its corporate structure by hiring a Senior Internal Auditor (M/F/D) to lead the internal audit function across the Group.Your new roleReporting directly to the Chair of the Audit Committee and the Group Head of Risk and Controls, you will be responsible for:Designing and executing the Group’s annual internal audit plan;Leading internal audit engagements across manufacturing sites and corporate functions;Identifying key risks and control gaps, and recommending improvements;Coordinating specialist audits with external providers (e.g., cybersecurity);Presenting findings and updates to the Audit Committee and senior leadership;Following up on remediation actions to ensure timely implementation;Supporting compliance with the UK Corporate Governance Code (Provision 29);Contributing to the Annual Report in collaboration with the Risk & Controls team.What you need to succeedBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;5–7 years of experience in internal audit, ideally within a global manufacturing environment;Strong understanding of internal audit principles and risk frameworks;Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills;Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;Fluent in spoken and written English;Experience with audit tools and reporting systems.What the company can offer youStrategic role with direct exposure to the Board and senior leadership;Opportunity to build and shape the internal audit function from the ground up;Dynamic and collaborative work environment;Competitive salary and benefits package.Next stepIf you are interested in this opportunity, please send us your updated CV.
