They create the tools and resources for their customers requirement to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams.To support our client’s continued growth, they are currently looking to hire a Senior IT Technician in Iceland, Keflavík.ResponsibilitiesPlanning regular IT tasks in the data centreSolving issues with IT hardware and supporting IT infrastructure in the data centreCollaborating with related departments and external contractorsAnalysing problems and abnormal situations that arise in the data centre and finding the root causesKeeping reports on the work of IT data centre supportCreating and keeping actual processes/procedures of operation and repairing server equipmentRequirements:University or specialised educationPractical experience in planning and solving technical problemsKnow the principles of the data centre, server, and network equipmentBasic knowledge of Linux and the command lineKnowledge of the ITIL methodology and operational activities of the technical support service (ITSM)Knowledge in project planning and managementStrong written and spoken fluency in EnglishExcel at the advanced level (pivot tables, formulas, lists, graphs)Skills of making presentations using PowerPoint or analogsIf this role is of interest to you, please apply now!
