Our people are ambitious, collaborative, and constantly evolving.What You’ll DoStrategy & LeadershipContribute to the development and execution of the global Data & Platform Architecture strategy—ensuring alignment with client needs and industry trendsLead by example within a team of Data Architects, Platform Architects, and Solution Designers (team size: 3–6), supporting skill development, technical excellence, and collaborationServe as a trusted internal expert in architecture and data modernization, supporting client engagements, knowledge sharing, and internal advocacyArchitecture Vision, Development & DeliveryDesign and contribute to the development of enterprise data architecture solutions for clients, covering layers such as:Ingestion, Streaming, Batch ProcessingData Storage (Lake, Lakehouse, Warehouse)Data Transformation & OrchestrationData Governance, Security & PrivacyData Consumption: BI, APIs, AI/MLCreate and maintain reference architectures that are:Cloud-native, modular, scalable, and cost-efficientAligned to modern data principles (Data Mesh, Lakehouse, AI readiness)Provide architectural guidance and governance across delivery teams to ensure quality, scalability, and securityPlatform Innovation & Technology EnablementEvaluate and recommend data platforms, tools, and cloud technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, GCP, dbt, Kafka) for client solutionsContribute to the development and evolution of Exadel’s internal data platform capabilities by building reusable assets, best practices, and acceleratorsMaintain strong awareness of trends in AI, data engineering, and cloud technologies to support solution design and client advisementExecution & Revenue GenerationLead solution design and technical execution for key data architecture projectsSupport the development of architecture-led offerings and frameworks that enhance delivery efficiency and client valueParticipate in pre-sales activities, including solutioning, proposal creation, and client presentations, in collaboration with senior leadershipWhat You Bring 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Platform Engineering, with 2–4+ years in technical leadership or team lead rolesDeep, hands-on expertise in:Cloud-native data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)Modern data architectures, including Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and Real-Time/Streaming solutionsDataOps, DevOps, and MLOps practices for scalable and automated data deliveryBig Data, Advanced Analytics, and AI/ML platform enablementStrong background in Data Modelling, including: conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, including dimensional (Star, Snowflake) and normalized OLTP models; proficient with tools like Erwin, PowerDesigner, dbt, and SQL Developer Data Modeler.Solid experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines, including: STM, data integration (batch, streaming, micro-batch), and pipeline orchestration and optimization.Hands-on involvement in delivering enterprise-scale data transformation, cloud migration, and modernization programs, ideally within consulting, advisory, or cross-functional delivery teamsProven ability to develop reference architectures, technical frameworks, and contribute to reusable patterns and delivery assetsStrong skills in stakeholder communication and technical storytelling—able to translate architectural decisions into business-relevant narrativesEnglish levelUpper-IntermediateLegal & Hiring InformationExadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and moreReasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functionsPlease note: this job description is not exhaustive.
