You will contribute to programme management, ensure compliance with OfS B conditions, and provide developmental feedback to enhance student success.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching, Assessment and Student SupportDeliver engaging, high-quality learning, teaching, and assessmentLead modules where required and collaborate with module teams to ensure effective deliveryDesign, update, and enhance teaching materials in line with RCL’s teaching frameworkProvide academic tutoring, monitor student engagement, and signpost support servicesOffer timely formative and summative feedback and promote academic integrityParticipate in moderation, module meetings, and annual monitoring activitiesAcademic ManagementContribute to quality assurance in line with awarding body requirementsProvide mentorship and academic leadership to colleaguesSupport inductions, programme development, and curriculum reviewParticipate in boards, panels, committees, and teaching observationsAnalyse student performance data to inform programme improvementsPerson SpecificationEssentialPostgraduate degree and teaching qualification (e.g., PgCert/PGCAP)SFHEA status or willingness to achieve within 12 monthsSignificant higher education teaching experience and experience of academic leadershipStrong communication skills, subject expertise, and ability to teach across campuses and onlineExperience embedding employability in the curriculum and using digital teaching platformsUp-to-date knowledge of trends in Business and Enterprise educationDesirableExperience in curriculum development, academic management, and partnership deliveryEngagement with academic or industry networks, including External Examiner rolesRelevant publications or scholarly activityExperience collaborating with businesses to enhance employabilityCompliance StatementSuccessful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a criminal records check, two references, ID and Right to Work verification, and education confirmation.
