Senior Legal Counsel

Key Responsibilities1、Provide timely, high quality, on-site legal support to enabling functions, ensuring that business goals are met across various countries and regions with minimal risk.2、Manage an overseas legal counsel team of 2-3 legal professionals, reporting directly to the General Counsel, and, as needed, to key stakeholders and the management team.3、Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:-Leading the drafting, review, and negotiation of legal documents (e.g., corporate governance materials, commercial contracts, and agreements) for key business lines, with a primary focus on digital twin (AKILA) and a secondary focus on Facility Management (Aden FM).-Developing, maintaining, and updating various types of contract templates to drive continuous improvement in the contract management process.-Supporting corporate law transactions (e.g., entity incorporations and dissolutions, internal share transfers, reorganizations) as well as handling insurance-related matters (policy maintenance and renewals, claims handling).4、Guide the overseas legal counsel team to streamline policy and process to better support transactions for the maximum realization of business opportunities. And drive continuous process improvements.5、Manage governmental investigations, disputes and legal proceedings in the relevant countries and regions effectively and provide practice-oriented solutions to the management for dispute resolution and protect company's interest in a timely and efficient way.6、Develop hands-on working relationships with business partners at all levels and play as a critical team member within the company. Manage external attorneys and company secretaries effectively.7、Lead Legal awareness training design and delivery to assigned BUs and JVs.8、Proactively provide Legal support to assigned projects;9、Work closely with other departments and teams (e.g. Finance, Sales, HR, MKT) and collaborate on different projects as well as implementation and gain adoption across all business units.Key Skills and Competencies1、Bachelor’s degree in Law or higher from a reputable law school.2、Admission to the PRC Bar (passing the China Bar Exam) is mandatory; admission to a foreign bar is a strong plus.3、5-8 years counsel experience; minimum 4 years in-house counsel experience with an MNC.4、Demonstrated excellent legal knowledge, business understanding and sound strategic thinking with outstanding organizational and analytical skills for detailed and results orientated solutions.5、Mature personality with high integrity and self-motivation, dynamic communication skills and ability to work and judge independently under pressure.6、Strong team leader and team player with willingness and ability to take responsibility in the team.7、Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is required; fluency in French is a strong plus.8、Overseas study and work experience is a plus.9、Experience in the tech / SaaS industry is a plus.
