Senior Local Travel Consultant, Inbound Department

RequirementsUniversity degree in tourism – other Business Administration degrees ordegrees in Foreign language are welcome– Comprehensive travel industry knowledge (direct selling and tourguiding experience would be an advantage)– Understanding market trends and market segments– Fluent verbal & written communication skills in French. Command ofanother language like English is a plus– Strong computing skills in full suite of MS Office use– Well organize and be proactive to clients.Main Duties– Handle travel requests, communicate and follow up directly with theclients till they become materialized / unmaterialized;– Provide tailor made programs to suit the clients’ need;– Create quotations in the system and regularly update booking status;– Actively involved in sustainability assignments and encourage clients tobuy more sustainable products;– Stay informed about tourism-related issues in the destination andprovide clients with up-to-date tour travel information;– Renegotiate with suppliers and find the best alternatives in terms ofrates, standard, and services, products;– Issue a pro-forma invoice once booking is thoroughly checked andcoordinate with accounting department regarding payment;– Follow up and stay informed of one’s own bookings particularly whilethe clients are in the country and until they depart;– Handle and reply to comments and complaints (if any);– Check costs for all bookings when requested by the AccountingDepartment;– Ensure company’s standard operating procedures are adhered to at alltime;– Performing any other duties requested by the management.Send your CV to: hr@asiantrailslaos.comWhatsApp: 020 2399 2989Only shortlisted will be contacted.
