Senior Logistics Operations Specialist

Our end‑to‑end cross‑border solution, spanning compliance, data security, fraud protection, taxes, tariffs, checkout, delivery, returns, customer service, and demand generation - enables brands to build direct, localised consumer relationships across more than 200 markets. We are now seeking an experienced, commercially minded Senior Logistics Specialist to oversee all in‑country operational, regulatory, and compliance activities. This role represents ESW locally, ensuring the smooth movement of B2B and B2C shipments, maintaining strong relationships with customs authorities and partners, and driving continuous performance improvements across our supply chain. This is a hybrid role and there will be regular travel involved.  ResponsibilitiesOversee the end-to-end execution and reporting of all B2B and B2C shipments from ESW’s global hubs to customers in Turkey.Lead all communication with Turkish customs, including TAREKS checks, customs clearance processes, and bulk shipment movements.  Monitor regulatory and compliance changes in Turkey, advising on business impact and making informed decisions to guide ESW’s approach.    Act as the in country expert on the TAREKS system, maintaining strong relationships with customs authorities.  Apply deep trade compliance knowledge, including expertise in customs taxes and regulatory requirements.  Serve as ESW’s local representative in all communications with 3PL carriers and customs partners.   Track and analyse internal and external KPIs, creating action plans and driving continuous performance improvement with carriers.  Manage suppliers daily, fostering strong working relationships while representing ESW and our clients’ interests.  Build strong client relationships and represent ESW with professionalism in every interaction.  Work autonomously in Turkey, owning decisions and execution around operational challenges and regulatory shifts.Requirements8+ years’ experience in customs, trade compliance, logistics, or supply chain operations, ideally within a multinational or high volume environment.  Proven ability to liaise effectively with Turkish customs, particularly on TAREKS processes and compliance matters.  Strong supplier management and coordination skills, with the ability to drive performance across multiple partners.  Solid background in Trade Compliance and customs regulations.  Fulfillment or warehouse operations experience is an advantage.  Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, timely updates to the Dublin based team.  Flexibility to adjust working hours in line with business needs and changing operational demands.  Confident in client facing communication, with strong PowerPoint presentation skills.  Skilled in managing suppliers while maintaining professional, productive working relationships.   Willingness to travel to suppliers and hubs to conduct audits, review performance, and support project work. About ESWOur purpose is simple: to create moments that matter between people and the brands they cherish.
