Senior Manager - AI Governance and Legal Lawrence Harvey is supporting a global entertainment and technology company which is a notorious household name with their headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. They are looking to expand their AI Governance Legal team.The RoleYou will be an internal AI Governance SME assisting with all elements of policy and legal work such as, contracts, compliance, DPIAs, crisis management, reviewing policies/procedures, and working to assist the global business.Working across the Legal, Compliance, and Privacy teams as an AI Governance/legal specialist.3 days a week in the office in the Ginza district.Business level/N1 Japenese speaking and strong level English.Working with clients across the industry.Opportunity to work on AI Governance globally.Assisting with the development of policy, procedures, and frameworks across the business.RequirementsIdeally a qualified lawyer, but also considering legal expertise (i.e. law degree or experience working as legal executive)Privacy experience 2 years +Japanese and English speaking.Appetite to learn and develop especially in privacy, AI governance, and ethics.BenefitsSalary between 10-12 million yenComprehensive Insurance CoverageCommuter Allowance ProgramNew Employee, Language, Managerial, & Technical TrainingFixed Overtime AllowanceSponsorship is available for this role but YOU MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO TOKYO full time
