Senior Manager - APAC Luxury Design & Detailing - Thailand

Purpose of the RoleThis role supports the Technical Services function, focusing on luxury design and detailing for Six Senses properties across APAC. It ensures high-quality renovations and new developments that reflect brand standards and local market relevance, from deal signing through to property opening.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & CoordinationLead luxury design and detailing for assigned projects, ensuring brand standards are met.Manage systems for tracking, reporting, and archiving project design and execution.Coordinate across internal teams (Operations, HR, Pre-Opening, etc.) to align design and functional requirements.Design OversightReview design submissions across all project stages (Concept to Construction).Consolidate internal feedback and communicate with project teams.Prepare key project documents including area programs, pitch decks, and kickoff presentations.Development SupportAssist Development teams in securing new hotel pipeline (new builds and conversions).Support brand standards updates and internal Technical Services initiatives.Key MetricsSystem size growthSignings targetBrand consistencyColleague HeartbeatPipeline under constructionOwner advocacyConversions and ramp-up healthCollaborative NetworkShared AccountabilitiesBrand standards compliancePipeline openings (APAC and beyond)Team goals (e.g., brand standards updates, tool development)Key InterfacesExternal: Developers, PMCs, consultantsInternal: TS, Operations, HR, Pre-Opening, Finance, Sales & MarketingQualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related fieldExperienceProven experience in luxury hospitality design and project coordinationStrong business acumen and organizational skillsMultinational and multicultural adaptabilityFluent in English and Mandarin (additional languages a plus)Willingness to travel as requiredSkills & CompetenciesStrong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skillsProject management and budget controlStrategic thinking and influencing brand values and design directionDon't quite meet every single requirement, but still believe you'd be a great fit for the job?
