This role is pivotal in ensuring robust, compliant, and reliable automation support for a facility that makes a global impact on public health.You will be responsible for setting and executing the automation strategy for the Kvistgaard site, playing a strategically important role both globally and at our site, reporting directly to the Head of Engineering.You will lead a team of 10–15 skilled Automation Engineers, driving both operations and projects while ensuring high reliability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with global engineering initiatives.Your ImpactOur vaccines make a real difference in people's lives, and regardless of your role, we all contribute to protecting and saving lives every day by ensuring the timely delivery of vaccines.This is a key leadership position during a period of transformation, as the site evolves from a standalone entity to an integrated part of a global engineering organization. To be successful you will combine strategic leadership with operational hands-on engagement, ensuring GMP compliance, and strengthening a culture of responsibility, safety, and quality across engineering activities.Your tasks will be:Driving the development and implementation of the automation strategy for our Kvistgaard site, aligned with the global engineering roadmapCollaborate with Global Engineering to ensure consistent technology standards and documentation practices across our networkImprove internal processesSME support and driver in projectsOwner of automation proceduresAre you our next pioneer?To succeed in this role, you will need:A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical fieldProven experience with SCADA/PLC solutions and automation systems within a regulated environmentStrong background in leading automation teams and managing CAPEX projectsDeep understanding of regulatory and GMP compliance, including validation and data integrityA collaborative and strategic mindset, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in English and DanishAbout YouTo succeed in this role, you must be able to set direction while creating balance—grounded in a genuine understanding of people.
