Join our team as a Sector Regulation Officer, where you will be at the forefront of ensuring that charities and Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs) operate with integrity, transparency, and accountability.What You Will Be Working OnIn this dynamic role, you will: Champion Compliance & Good Governance:Oversee the registration and ongoing compliance of charities and IPCs. This includes reviewing applications and addressing policy, regulatory and operational issues. Safeguard Public Trust:Investigate possible non-compliance or misconduct by charities/fundraisers and assist in enforcement actions. Innovate & Improve:Explore and develop new approaches/work processes and see through their implementation.ExperiencesWhat we are looking forAt least 2 years of working experience in compliance, regulatory or enforcement work.Competencies Comfortable reading financial statements and conducting basic financial analysis. Preferably have a background in Accountancy/Business Administration. Basic knowledge of legal and accounting principles will be an added advantage. Good written and oral communication skills. Enjoy working with different stakeholders to build collaborative relationships. Able to analyze complex issues while thinking creatively and planning strategically. Able to work independently and meticulously, exercise initiative and be a good team player.
