The measure of our success is built on the growth of our partners and dedicated teams that create great customer experiences every day.Job Title:Senior Manager, MarketingLocation:Guelph, ONScope for the position:The Sr. Manager, Marketing is the lead marketing role within the company, accountable for driving growth within Puresource’s own brands sold to the retail channel, supporting our third party brand partners, and delivering on our corporate brand marketing initiatives.This individual is responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of our house brand innovation pipeline and new product process, brand communications, trade marketing, and pricing. This role oversees multiple sub-departments including Creative Services, Category Management, Product & Brand Management.Duties and Responsibilities:Facilitate collaboration between marketing, sales, operations and managementCreate and manage strategic brand plans to drive profitable growth within the company’s portfolio of brands and strategic trade marketing plans and communications plans for corporate and distributed brandsIn collaboration with sales, plan and manage all new product launches Work closely with our U.S.-based parent company on new product selection and coordination for the NOW brand in CanadaSupervise and support marketing activities and staff in these core areas:Brand Marketing and CommunicationsProduct ManagementProduct Education and TrainingWith high ethics and servant leadership, support an environment of empowerment for team and colleagues with the resources, tools and support they need to anticipate and exceed expectationsCreate and own department budgetsRequired qualifications, education, experience, training, skills, background, and certifications:Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business or related field from an accredited institutionExperience in the food or natural health products (NHP) sector preferred5+ years of managerial experienceStrategic thinker, highly organized, self-starter, excellent communication skills, servant leaderAbility to interpret and understand scientific information pertaining to natural health and nutrition products and the statutes pertaining to the sale of NHP, Foods, Cosmetics and Consumer Goods in CanadaComputer Skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Occasional overnight travel; Valid passport as travel outside of Canada may be requiredHow to apply:Qualified candidates can submit their resumes through Indeed or by email to jobs@puresource.ca.
