As the Senior Manager, Process & Equipment - Engineering, you’ll be the driving force behind major process upgrades, equipment optimization initiatives and team‑building efforts across two dynamic plant sites (one established, one early‑stage). If you’re a hands‑on engineering leader who thrives on complex manufacturing challenges, continuous improvement and people development, this role gives you the visibility, impact and autonomy to shape the future of operations.What you’ll getA high‑visibility leadership role with strategic impact across multiple sites.Competitive base salary plus bonus target (~10%) and full benefits from Day 1.401(k) with employer match and immediate vesting; generous PTO, parental leave, tuition support and relocation assistance.A chance to lead significant transformation in environments backed by an established organization but offering startup‑like growth and agility.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and direct process engineering activities across hot‑end and cold‑end manufacturing functions (yield, throughput, equipment reliability).Build, manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a high‑performance, inclusive culture.Deploy Lean, Six Sigma and other continuous‑improvement methodologies in both mature and startup‑environment facilities.Conduct root‑cause investigations into process bottlenecks and quality issues; translate findings into sustainable solutions.Oversee planning, validation, audit programs and operational standards tied to manufacturing performance.Collaborate with plant leadership, operations, quality and safety teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive change.Serve as subject‑matter expert for high‑temperature, high‑speed, or similarly complex manufacturing contexts.Promote a culture of innovation, accountability and employee engagement to support retention and growth.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or closely related field.Minimum 5 years of progressive process‑engineering experience in high‑volume manufacturing.At least 3 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.Demonstrated hands‑on engineering ability (not purely administrative).Experience in glass, aluminum, insulation or other complex materials processing is strongly preferred.Proven track record in startup stabilization, equipment scale‑up or major process redesign.Solid familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (certification preferred), statistical process control, and data‑driven decision‑making.Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills across functions.Work Environment & CultureOur client prioritizes innovation, sustainability and the people who drive it.
