Job Description

General PurposeAt adidas as a Senior Manager Digital Analytics with focus on Management Reporting & Insights you are responsible for our business reporting & self-service tools for business to read performance, KPIs, insights and measurement primarily supporting across the EU eCommerce teams. You will be working with stakeholders to generate business impact based on the team’s insights that help adidas understand sales purchase patterns to ultimately help drive sales and identify opportunities and challenges.You will be a part of and drive complex analytical projects; work on uncovering new insights, helping to solve complex business problems into clear recommendations, build better analytics processes, deliver new or enhancing capabilities & scape how the future looks for management reporting. Using both descriptive and advanced analytics, you will help adidas make more informed business decisions.Through data, you enable the understanding of complex business questions: what is driving our growth, what can we learn from past performance as input to future planning, how our Non-Full Price impacts Full Price etc.YOU GOT THIS and we are excited to be part of your journey.Main TEAM RESPONSIBILITIESFOUNDATIONS & AUTOMATION:Support in the automation of business summary write upsEnsure data quality and resolution of defectsREPORTS AND DASHBOARDSBuild and maintain best-in-class self-service data tools in Power BI to track the performance of our businessManage roadmaps and backlogs for development and enhancementsIdentify what the future looks like for management reporting in EU eCommerce to make business decisions easily accessible and based on data.INSIGHTSConduct deep dives into business problems and areas of challenges & opportunitiesIdentify opportunities to be more relevent to different consumer groupsCombine business insights from different perspectives to give a 360 view on our business (marketing, conversion, pricing, product, industry & market insights, consumer)MEASUREMENTDefine KPIs to measure the health of our business performanceSupport with sizing opportunities to drive business growthADVANCED ANALYTICS AND INNOVATIONPioneer usage of innovation & advanced analytics where making sense to support every-day decsion makingTEAM LEADERSHIPOversee development and workload of 3 direct reportsManage and plan priorities with business stakeholdersKey RelationshipsEU e-commerce teams (Buying & Planning / Trading / Outlet / Digital Visual Merchandising / Finance / Analytics)Global Digital AnalyticsTechnical-Skills POWER BI or equivalent data visualization tools such as Tableau or LookerExtensive experience in data manipulation using SQLExperience working with statistics and usage of tools like R or PythonConfident working with multiple large data setsBusiness and Communication-SkillsExcellent and demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills: ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively with business impact behindDemonstrating creativity and initiative and acting in a result orientated way Ability to meet critical deadlines with planning and organization skills Comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levelsPeople management experience a plusFluent in EnglishRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:University degree in numerical/business disciplinePassion for sports and the adidas brand6+ years’ experience in an Analytical roleExperience in eCommerce/retail/merchandising or similarExperience in Clothing/footwear industry a plusadidas celebrates diversity, supports inclusiveness and encourages individual expression in our workplace.
