The RoleSenior Manager, Training & Learning Section, IT&TSummary of RoleThe Industry Training and Transformation (IT&T) Department is part of NTUC’s Training and Transformation Group that supports companies in workforce and workplace training and business transformation.The Training & Learning Section sits within the Development branch of IT&T and provides training and learning support for our Industry Training Officers (ITO) as part of their professional development. This role looks at training and upskilling ITOs to meet the needs of an evolving landscape and changing job roles. It also plays an important role in driving digital transformation projects across the Job Security Directorate (JSD). This role will report into the Deputy Director, Development branch, IT&T.Key Responsibilities1. Lead Digital Transformation and Platform DevelopmentDrive the development of a CRM tool by partnering with an AI vendor, Transformation Office (TO), and Job Security Directorate (JSD) task team.Oversee the enhancement and ongoing maintenance of the JSD microsite with TO and Strategic Communications (STC).2. Guide Capability Building and Cross-TrainingCoordinate with JSD task team in planning and executing cross-training initiatives with OTCi.Strengthen ITO capabilities through the adoption of new tools, gap analyses, and AI roadmap development.3. Enhance and Execute On-the-Job Training (OJT) Blueprint for ITOsRefine the OJT blueprint for new ITOs and oversee full OJT execution, providing ongoing guidance and support to teams and new hires.4. Drive Continuous Learning and Knowledge SharingManage the ITO Learning Resource SharePoint.Plan and deliver learning platforms such as Learning Day and virtual learning sessions.Support OTCi in training staff on CTC-related topics.Qualifications and Competencies Education & Experience: At least 15 years of working experience, preferably in area of workforce or business transformation, reskilling, job redesign and/or facilitation. Experience in engaging companies, TACs, or government-linked programmes is advantageous. Core Competencies/Skills: Strategic thinker, analytical, self-driven and results oriented. Strong consultative and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to connect enterprise issues with workforce solutions.Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Able to communicate and present to individuals at all levels. Able to work independently as well as in a team.
