With around 130 colleagues in development, quality, and production, we work together to make a real difference in people’s lives.Why This Role MattersAs a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the availability and compliance of our test equipment. You’ll collaborate with talented engineering teams and contribute to solutions that keep production running smoothly and patients safe.What You’ll DoBuild and qualify electrical and mechanical test equipment to ensure production continuity.Design and innovate new test equipment based on priorities, including validation of equipment, non-product software, and test methods.Take ownership of equipment availability and repairs, supporting the entire equipment lifecycle.Drive improvements through corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) related to equipment.What We’re Looking ForDegree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.3+ years of experience as an electrical or mechanical engineer.Strong understanding of electrical equipment and circuits.Proficiency in CAD design and troubleshooting electrical equipment.Familiarity with software (ideally C#) and debugging.Experience with injection molding and validation processes (EIQ/EOQ & NPS) is a plus.Fluent in English; German is an advantage.Knowledge of TestStand is an asset.What Makes You Stand OutYou enjoy problem-solving and finding creative solutions.You thrive in collaborative environments and value teamwork.You’re curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.Working at AbbottAt Abbott, You Can Do Work That Matters And Help People To Live a Healthier And Fuller Life, Grow Your Career, And Learn, Be Your True Self.
