Location: LATAM | RemoteAbout ZappZapp is redefining how immigrants move money home — making cross-border remittances faster, fairer, and fully conversational through WhatsApp. After growing our consumer business across Mexico and other key markets, we’re now exploring new ways to extend Zapp’s reach by collaborating with leading players in the remittance and payments ecosystem.Role Overview:Zapp is looking for a data-driven and strategic Business & Marketing Analytics Manager to own all aspects of analytics across our business and marketing functions. This role will be critical in driving our growth through deep analysis, trend identification, and actionable insights. You will be responsible for understanding the entire marketing and product funnel, from partnering closely with the media team to deeply analyzing our product funnel, ensuring we continue to optimize growth, transactions, and customer referrals. This role also encompasses analyzing pricing strategies, identifying what worked and what didn’t, and providing recommendations that shape the future of our business.The ideal candidate has a strong background in data analytics, experience extracting and organizing data, building dashboards, and performing deep statistical analysis. You will play a key role in helping Zapp grow by providing the insights that guide our strategies.Responsibilities:Own Analytics & Reporting: Manage and execute all aspects of business and marketing analytics, including data extraction, reporting, and presenting actionable insights to leadership.Funnel Analysis & Optimization: Analyze the full marketing and product funnel, identifying opportunities to push users through the funnel and ensure they transact and refer others. Partner with the media team to drive growth strategies across all marketing channels.Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Identify key trends and patterns in business performance and customer behavior, conducting deep statistical analyses that help inform future strategies.Pricing Strategy Analysis: Analyze pricing strategies and performance, providing insights on what worked and what didn’t. Use data to guide adjustments in pricing to maximize growth and revenue.Data Visualization & Dashboards: Build, maintain, and refine dashboards that allow teams to easily track key metrics, experience on Metabase Visualization tool is a plus. Organize and categorize data to make it accessible and actionable for stakeholders.Deep Data Analysis: Performing in-depth analyses to identify trends, customer behaviors, and campaign performance, often using advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling.Strategic Insights for Marketing and Business Growth: Translating analytics into strategies that optimize campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition, and retention. This often involves collaboration with marketing teams to adjust strategies based on findings.Continuous Optimization and A/B Testing: Designing and analyzing A/B tests to validate assumptions and optimize marketing approaches, helping to refine the company's approach based on evidence.Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with teams across Product, Marketing, and Sales to support data-driven decision-making and growth strategies.Strategic Recommendations: Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, helping to shape Zapp’s business and marketing strategies based on your insights.Requirements:5+ Years in Analytics: Proven experience in business or marketing analytics, with a deep understanding of growth funnels, product performance metrics, and marketing trends.Advanced Data Skills: Expertise in data extraction, data manipulation, and analysis. Proficient in SQL, Excel, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.Strong Statistical Analysis Skills: Ability to perform deep statistical analyses, identify trends and patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights for the business.Data Analysis and Visualization Tools Expertise: Strong skills in Excel, Google sheets for interpreting and visualizing data, for more advanced analytics and statistical modeling.Understanding of Marketing Technology: Experience with tools like Google Analytics and marketing automation software to track and analyze customer engagement and marketing performance.Growth & Funnel Analytics: Experience analyzing and optimizing marketing funnels, product funnels, and customer behaviors to drive growth, transactions, and referrals.Pricing Analysis Experience: Experience in pricing analysis and strategy, including tracking performance and recommending adjustments.Collaborative & Strategic: Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with media, product, and marketing teams.
