Position: Senior Marketing Manager/TraderLocation – Dubai, Language – Fluency in English is must.Industry : Steel industry / Ferro or Ferrous Alloy industryExperience – 10 years plus. Manganese ore/ Iron Ore/ Ferro and Non Ferro Alloys will bepreferred. Negotiation and Finalisation of deals experience is must. Should be a trader doingboth purchase and sale and responsible for profit and loss of the transaction. Job Responsibilities :Business Development & Trading Identify and establish new customers globally across the Middle East, Africa,Europe, and Asia. Expand business with existing customers through regular interaction andunderstanding of their material requirements. Develop new suppliers and sources for various ores, metals, and alloys to ensureconsistent supply. Negotiate, structure, and finalize both purchase and sale transactionsindependently, ensuring commercial viability. Manage end-to-end trading operations, from inquiry to contract execution, includingpricing, documentation, shipment, and payment realization.Commercial & Profitability Take full ownership of the profit and loss (P&L) of transactions handled. Analyze market trends, pricing, and competitor activities to optimize margins. Prepare and present periodic MIS reports and performance summaries formanagement review.Operational Coordination Coordinate closely with logistics, finance, and accounts teams to ensure smoothexecution of shipments and timely documentation. Follow up on outstandings and collections to maintain financial discipline. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of sales and purchase contracts based onagreed commercial terms.Leadership & Teamwork Mentor and guide junior marketing or trading executives. Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, and performance excellence withinthe trading team.Technical & Compliance Demonstrate sound working knowledge of: Incoterms 2010 / 2020 Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and payment instruments Third-party assayers and quality inspection protocols Containerized and break-bulk logistics Commodity risk and pricing mechanismsKey Competencies Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Excellent global market awareness and networking capabilities. Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to manage deals independently. High integrity, reliability, and commitment to organizational goals.
