Senior Mechanical Engineer

ResponsibilitiesManage the mechanical systems package from design through installation, testing, and commissioning.Review and coordinate design drawings, specifications, and submittals with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.Assist in managing project schedules, tracking progress, and identifying potential risks or delays.Prepare technical reports, documentation, and updates for internal teams and clients.Support subcontractor management, including performance review and schedule adherence.Contribute to the implementation of quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards.Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are met.Develop and coordinate the commissioning schedule for mechanical systems with relevant teams and vendors.Assist with project close-out activities such as testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover documentation.Qualifications & SkillsMinimum 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer ideally working on a data centre project Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems within design & build or construction environments.Understanding of health and safety standards and construction regulations.Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD or Revit.Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively within a team.
