Based in the Amsterdam Global HQ, the team is split into 4 sub teams: Design, Production, Sourcing & Development, Buying & Planning and Merchandising & Sales.These 4 teams work together in an informal setting to create styled and high-end quality products for the Global consumer base. Tommy Hilfiger Womenswear presents 4 collections per year (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter).The PositionAs a Sr. Merchandiser working in the Womenswear Division, you will be part of the Product Merchandising team creating and executing seasonal global collections. You will work closely with the Sr. Merchandise Manager, to oversee the Merchandising for the Womenswear global woven collections, storytelling, tiering and assortments. Next to that, you will work in collaboration with the developers from the development team and the designers. Together with the Sr. Merchandise Manager you will work on range plans, including margin targets, styles/option count and price build ups.Position ResponsibilitiesThe Sr. Merchandiser will report to the Sr. Merchandising Manager of Womenswear and will have the following responsibilitiesGain understanding of the Markets and trends by pursuing (field) market researchWork collaboratively with the Sr. Merchandising Manager to create seasonal range plans, taking into consideration the needs of Wholesale, Retail & Ecommerce channelsBuild a strong relationship with Design and Product Development and collaborate with them to build a commercially strong collections in alignment with range plans, by providing guidance during the global collection-building process (e.g. in Merchandising brief handover, Sketch and Proto reviews), and presenting the collection at key meetingsClose collaboration with the other merchandisers within the Womenswear division or other divisionsResponsible for execution and communication of market and merchandise-specific changes to products throughout the development processReview and perform different angles of sell-in/sell-out analysis and reporting needed for planning and evaluation of respective lifestyle and/or category to support (management) decision-makingPresent and explain the global collection (e.g. looks, styles, and laydown) to the markets in several key milestone meetingsEnsure forecasting and updates at given milestones and conduct PLM related activitiesSupport Divisions in market smart pricing and margin managementThe Ideal Candidate6 years experience in a merchandising roleHigh level of creative and analytical skillsAbility to handle pressure while working on multiple tasks under tight deadlines by providing high quality work resultsStrong entrepreneurial mindsetUnderstanding of Global country requirements and ability to translate the needs into the global collectionTeam player mindset, embraces team mentality and collaborationExcellent skills in MS Excel (reporting and handling big data amount, executing pivots and other analysis) as well as Word and PowerPoint are a plusKnowledge of PLM is a plusAbility to travelFluent in EnglishYour Wellbeing is Our PriorityIn the heart of Amsterdam, PVH is home to the global headquarters of Tommy Hilfiger and the European offices of Calvin Klein.Wellbeing: exclusive onsite gym and fitness classes, personal training, meditation studio, sports clubs, in-house physio, and receive access to our nutritional and wellbeing programs Campus: extensive food and beverage offerings, top-notch restaurant, barista coffee bars, sky bar, monthly social events, weekly Thursday drinks, game nights, and campus-themed activities that will keep your social life busy Develop your career: whether you lead a team or contribute your own expertise, everyone is a leader at PVH.
