Join a collaborative environment and gain exposure to over 200 years of combined metallurgical expertise across our team.Job DescriptionIMO, part of SGS, is seeking a full time Senior Metallurgist to join the team in West Perth.Responsibilities Include, However Not Limited ToUphold and maintain document control and quality assurance standards.Maintain a high level of communication with the Lead Metallurgist to completely understand and clarify the scope of work and project data interpretationTake personal ownership and accountability for all aspects of project data management, folder management, collation and manipulation throughout project delivery.Identify and obtain support or advice required for the planning, coordination and execution of workAttend and contribute to weekly and client meetings.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:Degree in Extractive Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar.Experience in a broad diverse range of metallurgical commodities and unit operations.Laboratory and project management experience.Strong written communication and verbal as well as effective planning and time management skills.Excellent attention to detail and highly developed organisational, planning and coordination skills.Additional InformationWHY WORK FOR SGS?
