Our mission is to make it easy to source and implement new solutions while staying ahead of the technology curve, offering business-friendly flexibility that larger providers often can't match. Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior IT & Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator to own our internal IT environment including designing, administering, and securing our M365 ecosystem as well as access management and employee onboarding while ensuring our Microsoft-based environment operates smoothly.This role will be the primary IT resource for ~100 employee technology needs, from setting up new users and managing access to maintaining and securing our business systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft 365, security best practices, and IT administration—with the ability to support employees with both business system needs and technical troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities✅ Microsoft 365 & IT Environment OwnershipServe as primary owner of Microsoft 365 environment, including Azure AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Microsoft Defender.Design, implement, and maintain identity, access, and configuration standards across users, groups, and devices.Implement software updates, patches, and system optimizations to maintain business continuity.✅ Employee Lifecycle, Access & OnboardingOwn the end-to-end IT onboarding and offboarding process for employees (accounts, licenses, devices, applications, access).Manage user accounts, authentication policies, and role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure people have the right tools with least‑privilege access.Continuously refine onboarding/offboarding checklists and workflows to make the process simple, fast, and secure.✅ Cybersecurity & ComplianceMonitor endpoint security (Microsoft Defender, MFA policies, device encryption) to protect against threats.Implement and enforce IT security policies to safeguard company data and employee accounts.Assist with security audits, risk assessments, and incident response protocols.✅ Technical Support & Employee AssistanceServe as the go-to resource for employees needing assistance with Microsoft 365, system access, and IT troubleshooting.Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, connectivity, and device performance issues.Required Qualifications and Skills4+ years IT experience, including 2+ years as the main Microsoft 365 administrator for a 50+ user company or client.Strong hands-on skills with Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID, Defender, and Windows device management.Experience building and managing SharePoint Online & Teams structure (sites, libraries, permissions, file organization).Solid understanding of security basics: MFA, Conditional Access, device compliance, identity management.Comfortable operating as the primary internal IT resource with minimal supervision.  Preferred CertificationsMicrosoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate (for SharePoint/Teams structure)Relevant Microsoft Applied Skills in M365, Entra ID, Intune, or SharePointPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily sedentary with standard office conditions, requiring sitting for extended periods of time and occasionally lifting light objects (e.g., laptop, computer monitor).
