We’re Expanding Our Technical Capabilities And Are Now Looking For AnSenior Android Developer – Mobile SDKYou’ll join our FSSDK team (stands for F-Secure SDK), which builds and maintains security SDKs used by major global partners. These SDKs power key features in apps that protect users from scams, malware, and other digital threats.In this role, your core responsibility is designing and delivering high-quality Android components — with collaboration across teams as needed. This is a technically focused role where the impact comes from shipping robust, maintainable code and contributing to a sustainable SDK codebase.We work in a hybrid model based in our newly opened Helsinki HQ – designed for modern collaboration and teamworking, complete with a rooftop sauna and a fully equipped gym. Check it out here!Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain native Android components of the FSSDK using Kotlin and Java Improve and simplify existing SDK components as part of the team’s development workParticipate in code reviews and technical discussions as part of the teamWrite unit and integration tests to support high-quality continuous delivery Investigate and fix bugs across a wide range of device types and partner implementationsShare your learnings and support others when needed Optionally contribute to iOS development depending on your curiosity and growth goals What are we looking for?Strong experience in native Android development using Kotlin and Java Good understanding of modern Android development practicesHands-on experience with unit testing and continuous integration Passion for writing clean, testable, and maintainable code Ability to work independently from specificationsStrong communication skills and natural inclination to mentor and collaborate Experience working in agile development teams and a global environment Bonus Points ForExperience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure), Python, or mobile SDK developmentWhat will you get from us?Welcome to the good side – the home of scam protection!
