The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Sitecore websites and componentsStay updated on Sitecore architecture and workflowsIntegrate Sitecore with third-party systems and APIsOptimise performance and ensure scalability of Sitecore solutionsLead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standardsCollaborate with UX/UI, content, and backend teams to deliver requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve Sitecore-related issues efficientlyStay updated on Sitecore upgrades, features, and industry trendsQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years hands-on working with the Sitecore Experience Platform (v9/v10).Proven experience delivering and maintaining enterprise-level Sitecore websites and digital solutions.Technical ExpertiseSitecore DevelopmentDeep understanding of Sitecore architecture, workflows, pipelines, and extensibility points.Proficient in building reusable components, templates, and renderings using Sitecore Helix/Habitat architecture.Experience with Sitecore SXA, JSS, and headless CMS implementations.Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving Sitecore issues using logs, pipelines, diagnostics, and debugging tools.Integration & APIsStrong experience integrating Sitecore with third-party systems and APIs (e.g., CRM, DAM, marketing automation).Proficient in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, RESTful services, and JSON-based data exchange.Performance & ScalabilityHands-on experience optimizing Sitecore solutions for scalability, caching, indexing (Solr/Azure Search), and performance.Familiarity with profiling tools, performance benchmarking, and CDN strategies (e.g., Akamai, Cloudflare).Cloud & DevOpsExperience deploying and scaling Sitecore on Azure PaaS, Kubernetes, or hybrid environments.Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform).Testing & QualityStrong grasp of SOLID principles, unit testing, and modern software engineering best practices.Experience performing and leading code reviews, enforcing clean code, and using static analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube).
