Senior Network Engineer (Expert) Up to 15M

A Leading Medical firm is looking for a Senior Network Engineer under the direct supervision of the Japan Infrastructure Lead.Responsibilities: - Design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of regional networks (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/Voice/SD-WAN/Cloud connections)- Ensure the health, security, and performance of advanced network infrastructure, including manufacturing sites (with PLCs)- Deploy global standards and best practices across the region- Manage SLAs/KPIs and optimize performance and maintenance of network devices (firewalls, switches, routers, etc.)- Respond to major incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and manage vendors- Adhere to and implement IT security standards and access control policies- Business trips: there is possibility of travelling overseas to 50 locations across Japan, china, Vietnam and other regionsRequired Skills:- Fluent Japanese Speaker, business level English (ability to convey technical requirements to global team)- Minimal 5 years’ experience in Practical experience in network design, operation, and maintenance based on global standards and governance- Need to be able to handle complex network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WiFi/Voice/ SD-WAN/Cloud) in an enterprise company- Good communication skills, has the experience to communicate with both regional team and global teamWhy should you apply:- End-to-end ownership of regional network services from design to maintenance at Japan HQ- High visibility and influence, with close proximity to global function heads and opportunities to shape operational strategy- Frequent direct engagement with global IT leaders through roundtables and visits- Active participation in global projects, ideal for those seeking to expand language skills and international perspective- Collaborative and supportive team culture across services at the Japan office- Flexible work style, including remote work with no fixed office attendance requirements- Occasional travel to approximately 50 sites across Japan, China, and Vietnam may be required due to the nature of infrastructure work- Good HR Benefits such as 20 days Annual leave etc.Company Details:A multi-billion dollar company covering the world's major markets and offering medical technology service and solutions to their clients around the world.
