Job SummaryThe Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The role involves configuring and troubleshooting Fortinet and Cisco network environments, implementing SD-WAN solutions, and maintaining VPN connectivity across global locations. The position requires strong technical expertise in routing, switching, and firewall management, along with excellent communication and documentation skills.II. Roles & ResponsibilitiesConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, and routing protocols. Manage and optimize Fortinet SD-WAN, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiOS environments. Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and system tuning to ensure security and stability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network policies, VPNs, and infrastructure changes. Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improved uptime. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices across all network components. Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and operational procedures. Support Cisco-based environments, including Catalyst and Meraki devices for routing and switching. III. Years Of Experience7–9 Years of overall experience in network engineering, with at least 6 years specializing in Fortinet and Cisco technologies.IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional)Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferred Certifications: Fortinet NSE4/NSE5, Cisco CCNP/CCNA. Must HaveV. Skill Set Required:Expertise in FortiGate firewalls, Fortinet SD-WAN, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiOS. Strong knowledge of routing protocols, VPN configurations, and network security. Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Meraki for switching and routing. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. Proficiency in network monitoring and performance optimization. Nice To HaveExperience with automation or scripting for network management. Familiarity with multi-site enterprise network environments. Exposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SDN solutions.
