Senior Network Engineer

About the role: Senior Network Engineer works as a part of the team to design, install, configure and administer the relevant systems as well as documenting processes, procedures and operational activities whenever necessary. We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with the following qualifications.This position will be;Collaborating with necessary stakeholders to design and implement functional networks.Designing, installing and configuring network devicesPerforming system updates and maintenance.Performing patch management activities and ensuring its compliance with the information security proceduresEnsuring that the errors are analyzed and the problems are solved in line with the log checksCarrying out the forward checks of the systems, detect the situations likely to cause interruption in advance, and perform proactive worksPlanning and testing the disaster recovery scenariosProviding after-hours support for emergencies and planned maintenance activitiesDesigning and implementing monitoring and reporting functionsTracking new technologies, suggesting improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability accordinglyConducting requirements analysis, prepare technical specifications, and perform POC and testsDocumenting processes, procedures and operational activitiesMaintaining inventory and asset configurationHow do we describe the perfect match?Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplineFluency in English both spoken and writtenMinimum 10 years of experience in Network AdministrationPositive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independentlyExtensive experience working with enterprise networksPreferably has CCIE Enterprise certificationHigh level analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and documentation skillsHas strong desires to learn and explore new technologiesCollaborative team player, strong interpersonal skillsAdvanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet and HuaweiAdvanced knowledge of Cisco ISEAdvanced knowledge of Wireless TechnologiesAdvanced knowledge of underlay and overlay network topologiesAdvanced knowledge of Multi-Site DC Network Interconnection and InfrastructureAdvanced knowledge of MP-BGP, EVPNApplication problem detection with Network Packet AnalysisExpert on complex packet-based network problemsProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues using tools such as TCPDUMP, FW Monitor, Packet Capture, or WiresharkPosition located at: Libadiye OfficeWho We Are?We are the technology leader of the aviation and air cargo industry in Turkey!
