Senior Officer - Investigations

Job PurposeThe Senior Officer will play a crucial role in conducting thorough investigations into potential fraudulent activities, compliance breaches, and suspicious transactions to safeguard the integrity of our institution and mitigate risks.Job Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesConduct interviews to obtain information useful in resolving a fraud case/disputeCollect, analyse, and interpret relevant documents and financial records to obtain clues regarding a monetary disputeCarry out analysis of obtained evidences and clues to determine possible suspectsCollaborate with other professionals to develop strategies useful in resolving a fraudMaintain an honest/ethical benchmark when conducting investigations to ensure a non-discriminatory analysisEnsure accurate documentation and record of all interrogations and overall investigative operationsInterrogate suspects to obtain information or clues useful in cracking illegal financial schemesOffer recommendations to organizations on ways to minimize risk of fraudConduct investigations to arrive at logical conclusions as to the identities of fraud perpetrators and the strategies they employedLiaise with various law enforcement agencies and represent the organization in court during case hearings.QualificationsRequired Skills and QualificationsDegree in a related field (e.g. Criminology, accounting, social studies, law banking, criminal justice, risk management)Relevant certification preferred such as e.g. CFE, CFIP(Certified Forensic Investigation Professional),CHFI(ComputerHacking Forensic Investigator), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)Proven working experience in investigations of frauds and other crimes.Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact with clients, upper management and law enforcement.OrganizationEquity Group HoldingsEmployment TypeRegularJob LevelNon-ManagementJob ShiftDay JobJob PostingOct 24, 2025, 3:31:14 PM
