You will play an integral part in the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable, and efficient Pega-based business applications. The role will be based in Tunis at Smartlogiq's office with potential periodic travel to the client's site outside Tunisia.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and implement end-to-end Pega applications using Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) and associated tools, with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to interpret requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.Develop and configure business rules, workflows, UI components, data models, and integrations, ensuring compliance with Pega guardrails and best practices.Participate in unit testing, code reviews, and peer programming to ensure high standards of code quality and system performance.Diagnose and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlogs. Provide accurate effort estimates and support sprint delivery.About You & Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Technology or related field.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Arabic and English.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Able to travel outside Tunisia when necessary for periods of at least a month.Minimum of 5 years’ commercial (post graduation) hands-on experience in developing Pega applications, ideally within enterprise-level environmentsFinancial services experience (Banking, Brokerage, Capital Markets) is beneficialPega Senior System Architect (SSA) is a minimum requirementStrong command of Pega platform capabilities, including case lifecycle management, decisioning, UI design, and data integrationExperience with Pega industry frameworks such as Pega Customer Service, Sales Automation and Pega MarketingExperience working with REST/SOAP APIs, database queries, and integration with third-party systemsProficiency in performance tuning, error handling, and application debuggingFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologiesExcellent problem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clientsExposure to DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD automationFamiliarity with cloud platforms, including Pega Cloud, AWS, or AzureWorking knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages is an advantage
