Senior Piping Engineer / Senior Piping Designer (Piping Isometric Checker)Location: Doha, QatarContract Type: 6-month contract with potential extension based on project requirementsExpected Start Date: 1st April 2026Expected End Date: 1st October 2026Key Responsibilities:- Verify dimensional accuracy on isometric drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements- Check that material specifications on drawings match project specifications and standards- Confirm the Bill of Materials (BOM) is complete and accurately reflects required materials- Verify correct flow direction and orientation of piping- Review support details for accuracy in specification and location- Identify and report potential clashes or interferences with other systems or structures- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes and standards (such as ASME, ANSI, API)- Review annotations and notes for clarity and completeness- Conduct revision control to ensure latest drawings and properly documented changes- Perform overall quality check to ensure clarity, legibility, and professional presentation of drawings- Compare drawings against PID, vendor data, stress CNs, and project standardsRequirements:- Proven experience in piping engineering or piping design with strong understanding of isometric drawing checks- Familiarity with material specifications and construction BOMs- Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API)- Experience in drawing review, clash detection, and quality checks in a similar role- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlinesThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading project in Doha, Qatar.
