Senior Planner, Production Planning

Role & Responsibilities:Support the completion of PO management processCommunicate with Brand, Regions and Vendors to manage exceptions and order change requestsSupport Direct Line Manager in the execution of continuous improvement initiatives/processes Vendor Management Change Management & Process Improvement ImplementationChina for China speed strategy focusPosition Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):As a Sr. Production Planner, you will support the execution of PO management process including PO creation, handling exceptions and overseeing the completion of order change request. You will support a sustainable performance Team by working collectively with Planning Team, Brand and Vendors ensuring deliveries are met on timeAs part of the role, this position is responsible for providing relevant and accurate data, highlighting risks and opportunities, for internal and external stakeholdersThis Sr. Planner role will also have focus on China-for-China speed strategy. Representing the Production Planning organization, you will work with other cross-functional counterparts to develop China speed strategy in support the our Greater China commercial business.To succeed, you will utilize both relationship building and strong analytical skill sets to drive decision making that ensures processes are integrated and aligned across all regionsKey Result Areas:Own the execution of PO management process including purchase order creation (where applicable) and change memo issuing in accordance with business requirementsAnalyze weekly exception and unconfirmed PO’s ensuring the execution of actions to resolve issues and maintain CRD datesCollaborate with Global Material Supply, QA and vendors to ensure on time deliveries, escalation of issues where requiredPartner with VF Logistics and Vendors to optimize delivery times ensuring on time deliveryMeasure & monitor factory KPIs and ensure that Vendor scorecards are maintainedBuild, maintain and elevate factory audit activities (where applicable)Prepare detailed analytics with clear action points on a continuous basis including production tracking tools to provide effective and timely visibility to Brand & RegionsContribute to creation of China speed strategy through demand data analytics and planning best practices. Work with vendors to align on speed program framework.
