Senior Planning Engineer - Offshore

About us:Lead a team of planners / controllers to define project objectives in terms of duration and resources, to pilot the project status and to ensure the forecast reliability and successful completion of the Project.Able to independently manage planning and schedule activities of a project and support project manager or director to execute the project successfully. Also should able to understand client requirements and ensure good client satisfaction.GENERAL:o To develop a schedule compliant with the selected execution strategy.o To plan in order to mitigate riskso To define and optimize the necessary resources (E-P-C-I)o To define the planning & scheduling system (methods, procedures, time-schedules, Physical progress, dashboards, etc)• PROPOSAL:o To conduct contract review and advise the managment on contractual qualificationso To define a realistic and feasible contract duration for execution for the management, the proposal manager and the estimation department.• PROJECT:o Responsible for the development, updating and maintenance of project planning & Scheduling systems (methods, procedures, time-schedules, physical progress, Dashboards, etc…)o To define the project breakdown structureso To plan so as to ensure the work fronts at site and timely deliveries.o To plan in order to mitigate riskso To get client approval of progress claimed or milestones achievement in order to Enable invoicingo To increase project team members awareness of the project milestones, main Durations and critical pathso To monitor and control the project status to detect any delay and to propose Corrective actions in order to mitigate risks and prevent any delay when assigned to project as and when necessary.o To anticipate opportunities for extension of timeo To provide project feedback and lessons learned in order to improve the planning & scheduling methods and provide input to the statistics of planning department.o Usually manage a team of planning executives or engineers mainly on medium size And large epc projects.• SOFTWAREo Strong Competencies to Operate P6 / MSP /MS Excel• NICE TO HAVE:o Knowledge of office 365 tools for effecicent work collaborationo Knwoledge of PowerBI for digital reportingo Knowledge of 4D planningo knowledge of advanced planning tools (Acumen Fuse, OPRA, etc …)About You • Degree in engineering or other degree holder with confirmed and relevant experience in project execution• 10- 15 years experience in oil & gas planning and scheduling• Excellent EPCIC knowlege on offshore facilities• Able to to perform schedule forensic Analysis• Management capabilities• Deep knowledge of scheduling computer tools• Deep knowledge in E, P, C, I work processes.• Knowledge in schedule risk analyses Once receiving your system application, our recruiting team will screen and match your skills, experience, and potential team fit against the role requirements.
