As part of the Devops group, this team is responsible for the orchestration platform that manages the entire lifecycle of the production environment hosting all Cortex products, as well as the enablement of the entire RnD group using self service APIs and internal tooling.More information about Cortex can be found here.Your ImpactDevelop the orchestration platform that manages the entire lifecycle of the production environment hosting all Cortex products deployed on GCPDevelop Kubernetes operators and cloud-native applications to streamline our infrastructure management and deployment processesCollaborate with engineering teams to design and enhance software architecture to improve scalability, service reliability, cost and performanceStay abreast of cutting-edge technologies and deploy them to production environments when appropriateContribute to team-wide efforts including code reviews, design reviews, and technical/architectural decisionsParticipate in the on-call rotation to provide support for applications and infrastructureQualificationsYour Experience 5+ years as a Platform/Software Engineer Engineer (or similar role) with a strong programming experience in either Go, Python or other relevant coding languagesProficiency in one of the Cloud providers. GCP - preferredSolid understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and tools such as Terraform/ArgoCD/ConfigConnectorExperience improving product stability through thoughtful code reviews, testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changesHigh proficiency with virtualized and containerized environments (Kubernetes and Docker)Ability to grasp new technologies quickly and prioritize and multitask on multiple responsibilitiesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environmentsExperience with working with internal and external customers and stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work and coordinate between multiple teamsNice To HaveExperience developing Kubernetes operatorsProficiency with databasesAdditional InformationThe TeamOur engineering team is at the core of our products and connected directly to the mission of preventing cyber attacks.
