Senior Procurement Engineer

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to lead and manage the full procurement cycle for our construction projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical understanding, strategic sourcing capabilities, and solid experience in the UAE market. This role ensures that all materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with project specifications.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that support project timelines and cost targets.Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine procurement requirements for Civil & MEP works.Identify, evaluate, and qualify reliable suppliers and subcontractors.Solicit, analyze, and negotiate quotations to secure the best value and terms.Prepare and issue Purchase Orders in compliance with company procedures.Procure materials, spare parts, and services needed for both project execution and building maintenance activities.Work closely with project, engineering, maintenance, and site teams to ensure accurate and timely procurement.Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, and contractual standards.Resolve procurement challenges, delivery delays, or disputes through proactive engagement.Use ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite or similar) for procurement, documentation, and reporting.Maintain accurate procurement logs, documentation, and reports for audits and compliance.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).Minimum 12 years of experience, with strong background in construction procurement.At least 7 years of experience in the UAE market.Proficiency in MS Office and ERP platforms.UAE Driving License is an advantage.Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
