About The Team And The RoleWe’re seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Public Platform team, working on public-facing data websites. In this role, you’ll provide professional input on complex assignments and projects.What You'll DoWork autonomously on complex design challenges.Analyse and resolve complex design problems through in-depth evaluation of multiple variables.Develop and implement creative and effective design solutions that align with company objectives.Exercise sound judgment in evaluating, selecting, and adapting both standard and complex design techniques.Utilise in-depth professional knowledge to develop design models and procedures while monitoring industry trends.Direct the application of existing design principles and contribute to new policy development.Adapt communication style and use persuasion effectively when delivering messages to different stakeholders.Required CompetenciesAdvanced wide-ranging experience in product design.Strong understanding of the interrelationships between different disciplines.Ability to determine and implement methods and procedures for new assignments.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations.Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying design decisions.Demonstrated ability to manage operational initiatives to achieve tactical goals Track record of delivering measurable results within own discipline.Impact & AccountabilityDrive the achievement of medium-term goals through design initiatives.Take ownership of tactical design targets and deliverables.Accountable for meeting performance targets within assigned projects.Contribute to departmental objectives through high-quality design work.Why join YouGov?Join our global team to help us achieve our social mission: to make millions of people’s opinions heard for the benefit of our local, national, and international communities.Understanding diversity of opinion requires diversity of background.
