In this role you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and market needs to develop a product vision and roadmap for Cloudera’s Data In Motion products based on Apache Flink.Cloudera’s Data In Motion products are powered by open source technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink and Apache NiFi and is the streaming data platform of choice for enterprise customers in the public cloud and on-premise. Customers use Cloudera Data In Motion products to ensure data is processed, analyzed and delivered to business critical applications in the right format and on time while meeting data quality standards.As a Senior Product Manager you will:Define and execute the strategy & roadmap for Cloudera’s streaming data product based on Apache Flink.Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the global market, particularly focusing on data movement and data integration requirements.Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to prioritize features, define requirements, and drive product development.Work in tandem with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches, adoption, and customer satisfaction.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of Cloudera’s streaming data productsWe’re excited about you if you have:5 years of experience in enterprise software product managementExperience designing SaaS or PaaS productsExperience working with streaming data tools like Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar, Apache Flink, AWS MSK, Confluent, Azure Event Hub, Google Pub/Sub, Google DataflowExcellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to think strategically, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).You may also have:Experience in working with open source technologies/communities.Experience in building end to end data streaming applications combining technologies like NiFi, Kafka, Flink, and Spark is a strong plus.Experience in working with Kubernetes.Why this role matters:This is your opportunity to build cloud-native solutions that are deployable anywhere whether in massive clusters on any cloud provider or in private data centers.
