Senior Product Owner – Sportsbook Trading

The WOWYou will take part in the continuous evolution of our Sportsbook, with a sharp focus on trading and odds-related capabilities, ensuring its long-term competitiveness. As Senior Product Owner, you’ll help shape innovative trading tools, processes, and customer-facing features that power one of the most engaging Sportsbooks in the industry. You’ll work closely with trading teams, other product owners, commercial teams, and third-party providers to ensure priorities are aligned, integrations are efficient, and features are launched smoothly — delivering continuous improvements to both traders and end users.A taste of what you will be doing Own and drive initiatives that enhance Sportsbook trading operations (pricing, risk management, event creation, settlement, trading tools).Generate and qualify ideas on how to improve betting markets, odds management, and trading efficiency, ensuring strong market competitiveness.Collaborate with third-party data and odds providers to integrate services that expand Sportsbook’s trading capabilities.Translate product and stakeholder requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, with a focus on trading workflows.Support the development of internal trading tools (dashboards, risk modules, automation) and ensure they are aligned with traders’ day-to-day needs.Manage and prioritize the backlog for Sportsbook trading-related work.Hold demos with trading and product stakeholders, gathering feedback for iterative improvements.Document requirements, flows, and product designs in detail, ensuring clarity for development and trading teams alike.Partner with trading leadership to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities to refine our Sportsbook offering.Requirements 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in agile environments2+ years’ hands-on experience in sports betting trading (either in trading operations or trading-related product development).Strong understanding of odds compilation, risk management, and sportsbook trading tools.In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end Sportsbook flow event creation → pricing → risk/liability → settlement.Familiarity with pricing models, algorithms, and margin strategies.Proven ability to work across distributed teams and multiple stakeholders (product, trading, tech, commercial).Engineering, Computer Science, or quantitative degree preferred.Product or project management certification(s) an advantage.Experience with JIRA, ConfluenceWhat we offerMonthly Allowance for LunchPrivate & Life Plan Insurance for you and your familyTeam Building BudgetAnnual Wellness AllowanceCorporate Travel InsuranceEvents and initiatives both Local (Quarterly Meetings) and GlobalProfessional Development Programs & Internal Career OpportunitiesMilestone BirthdayMuch like a rollercoaster, life at Betsson Group is fast-paced, full of twists and turns, and always exciting.
