Samsung C&T has long been active in the green energy business and continues to explore additional innovative renewable energy solutions.We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Electrical for BESS Project in Gnarwarre, Victoria.About the RoleProvide a high level of electrical engineering technical competence based on relevant experience and knowledgeComplete electrical and control systems design for BESS project, applying a robust systems engineering processUndertake technical investigations, root cause analysis, and solution identificationCreate engineering designs to integrate the platform's electrical and control systemsPlan and coordinate assigned engineering projects from concept through to delivery, including the development of project plans, schedule and engagement of internal and external stakeholdersParticipate in the design coordination meetings within multi disciplinary environmentLiaison with in/external stakeholders, including client, subcontractor, supplier, etcManage the construction programmeProvide mentoring and support to junior engineers where requiredProject Management, including management of task schedule, resourcing, budget and progress monitoring, and reportingAssist in planning and coordinating on‐board installation works, including scopes of work, installation work packages, and test proceduresAbout YouTertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or similarProven skills and experience in an electrical engineering functionExperience from a renewable EPC projectExperience with electrical and control systems for HV/LVProven ability to produce clear and well‐presented reports of a suitable quality and standardStrong interpersonal skills and Project Management skillsDemonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skillsDemonstrated ability to deliver results in a dynamic environmentAbility to manage, prioritise, and complete multiple tasks concurrentlySamsung C&T Corporation is committed to building diverse and inclusive teams.
