Role DescriptionThe Senior Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex, high-impact projects that align with organizational goals. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and schedules while ensuring quality, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, capable of driving strategic initiatives from conception to completion in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk assessments.Manage and guide cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability across departments.Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining quality standards.Communicate project progress, challenges, and milestones to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.Oversee vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement coordination when required.Implement and enforce project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery frameworks and team performance.Conduct regular performance and progress reviews to ensure optimal resource utilization.Oversee financial tracking, cost reporting, and ROI analysis for assigned projects.Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth project adoption and stakeholder buy-in.Mentor and coach junior project managers and coordinators to develop project management capabilities across the organization.Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.Lead post-project evaluations and lessons-learned sessions to inform future projects.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.8–12 years of experience in project management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership or program management role.Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale, and cross-functional projects successfully.Strong knowledge of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar).Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP preferred.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across all organizational levels.Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced, evolving environments.Demonstrated leadership with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.Fluent in English (additional languages such as German or French are an asset).
