Hybrid- Ortigas, Pasig What is the Job all about?Join our team as a Purchasing Coordinator and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of indirect daily orders and PO management! In this position, you'll provide essential support across a range of activities, from vendor management to master data maintenance, making sure all orders placed through ARIBA are processed and delivered on time. As a specialist in indirect purchasing, you'll take end-to-end ownership within your area, contributing directly to our operational success.Your main responsibilities:Provide support for team members on Indirect daily ordering activities. Drive process improvement initiatives and actively contribute in cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing. Supporting deployment of new processes Representing advanced level of process knowledge and expertise.Support to convert Purchase request to Purchase order, coming from ARIBA, handle order confirmationsFollow up on orders, using (delivery time, partial delivery, missing materials etc)Handle Vendor Invoice Management Support indirect daily ordering process in general, answering for questions coming from end users/ requestors locally, especially support the MRO areaCreate and maintain Framework orders, share and communicate them towards end users and suppliers in their own areaCoordinate and support training of employees within processesCoordinate and lead work shadowing/ Roll out activities and ensure standard process splits are followedExecute ad-hoc activities given by Team Lead or ManagementThe Purchasing coordinator need to be clear with all Purchasing related processes and principles in place and capable to use them, such as local DOA rules etc.All other process related tasks and activities what are requested by the line managerYour background:2-3 years’ experience in similar role Experience indirect and direct sourcing and/or operational procurement activitiesUnderstanding the order flow and related procurement processesSolid Procurement system knowledgeSystematic and quality-oriented way of working, following instructions and proceduresAbility and willingness to work in a team environmentDistinct flexibility and capacity to work under pressure regarding function and timeSense of duty and responsibilityProactivity in process related improvement ideasCommunicative, people orientedWillingness to acquire new skillsAnalytical mindset, writing and reportingUnderstanding of the order flow and related procurement processesProficiency of Procurement systems (e.g. ARIBA, SAP)What’s in it for you?
