You'll be at the forefront of innovation, focusing on Python development while contributing to Opera’s AI initiatives, applying your expertise to create groundbreaking solutions that delight our users.As part of our AI team, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing Python-based AI features, integrating AI solutions into our products, and continuously improving the browsing experience.Role & ResponsibilitiesResearch and develop AI products and features to create smarter, more intuitive browsing experiences.Enhance and optimize existing Python and AI-based solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and scalability.Champion and pioneer the integration of AI-powered workflows into development, across the entire development lifecycle, from prototyping and coding to debugging and performance optimization.Test, deploy, and maintain AI systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and robustness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into Opera’s products and services.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI and explore new technologies to drive innovation.Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, creativity, and experimentation.Job RequirementsExceptional software development skills with over 5 years of proficiency in Python as your primary language (or similar languages).Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.A proven track record of integrating AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, automated workflows) into your daily development workflow, with demonstrable examples or case studies showcasing significant productivity or quality improvements.Commercial experience working on complex, large-scale solutions used by millions of users.Experience in AI/ML is nice to have, including familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.A strong interest in AI, LLMs, neural networks, and modern ML algorithms is a must.Ability to build and deploy Python-based AI applications in production.An Ideal Candidate’s ProfileCreative problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges.Willingness to learn and explore new technologies.Resilience in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams.Excellent communication skills.An AI evangelist, passionate about exploring and implementing novel ways to use artificial intelligence to solve real-world engineering problems.What’s On OfferAt Opera, you’ll join a diverse and inclusive team of experienced, supportive professionals who value creativity and collaboration.
