We continue to expand our capabilities through automation, advanced manufacturing, and strong supply-chain partnerships.LMH Engineering is committed to building a world-class off-site manufacturing platform and developing innovative Integrated Structural Systems that deliver speed, quality, and consistency for our clients.The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join our leadership team at LMH HQ in Arklow.This is a senior leadership position requiring a minimum of 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying or commercial management within the construction or off-site manufacturing sectors.It is also a progressive role with clear room for promotion for the right candidate as LMH continues to scale across Europe.You must demonstrate the right cultural fit, with a strong can-do attitude, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving engineering and manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCost control, cost planning, and cost reportingClient-facing commercial management and stakeholder engagementPreparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs)Leading and coordinating bid proposals for potential clientsSupporting business development and contributing to commercial and strategic decisionsWorking closely with, and directing, a very strong internal estimating teamCoordinating and managing Estimation Commercial Managers to ensure accurate and competitive submissionsEnsuring variations and change orders are identified, raised, priced, negotiated, and agreed in a timely mannerPreparing and agreeing monthly applications for paymentLeading final account negotiations to closureLiaising closely with the finance team on WIP, forecasting, and commercial reportingAppointing suppliers and subcontractors and ensuring full commercial and contractual complianceCollaborating with project teams to ensure financial efficiency, budget adherence, and high-quality delivery across LMH’s Integrated Structural Systems and construction projectsProviding accurate cost evaluations, risk assessments, and cost-effective recommendations throughout the project life cycle.Required Knowledge & ExperienceStrong understanding of FIDIC, NEC, and other industry-standard construction contracts (essential)Knowledge of structural steel, secondary steel works, and MEP systems (highly desirable)Demonstrated commercial awareness and high-level leadership capabilityAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced engineering and construction environmentA positive, can-do attitude and alignment with LMH’s culture of ownership, commitment, and continuous improvementWhy Join LMH?Work with one of Europe’s fastest-growing engineering and off-site manufacturing companiesSenior role with genuine influence on commercial direction and client strategyClear pathway for promotion for the right high-performing candidateOpportunity to work across large-scale, high-impact engineering and industrial projectsA dynamic environment where responsibility, growth, and innovation are valuedTo be part of an opportunity to scale and bring value for recognition in return
