Senior Quantity Surveyor, DublinLocation: Dublin, HybridIndustry: CivilsScope of Work: A key role within the commercial team delivering major Civil Engineering projects on a landmark infrastructure works in Ireland.Are you an experienced Quantity Surveying professional with experience in delivering across the commercial facets of projects?Have you ambitions to work on large-scale infrastructure projects?Turner Lovell is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading, highly innovative, multi-national engineering services company in Ireland. This is a brilliant opportunity for the right individual to join a well established, highly regarded business that is experiencing growth through their success in the market. You will be working on site in Dublin with a hybrid working model potentially available.With the support or the wider team, your responsibilities will include:Preparation of bottom up forecasts at contract award stage; management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.Drafting of supply chain ITT’s; Preparation and maintenance of an up to date Cost to Complete and Risk analysis Register for the projects; and preparation of monthly CVR reports and any other reports required for the project(s).Identifying commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.Preparation of Valuations/Application for payment to the Client with full supporting documentation in accordance with the contract.Ensure appropriate Client Management is initiated and maintained.Administration of subcontractor / supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.The ideal profile is someone with:Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics with a minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity SurveyorExcellent knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 forms of contract; Experience on large Civil Engineering projects; and in site-based work.If you are considering what your next role could look like within Quantity Surveying, and have a passion for playing a part in delivering landmark civil works, please apply and get in touch with Mark Canning via the link provided for more information.
