Senior Quantity Surveyor

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of the project, taking ownership of cost control, subcontractor management, and client engagement.As a senior member of the commercial team, you will lead on procurement, oversee multiple complex subcontract packages, and provide strategic commercial guidance to ensure project success. This is a key leadership role, requiring strong technical, financial, and people management skills.Requirements Responsible for measuring work packages from drawings and applying rates to work up package pricing Manage the project budget as directed by the Project Director Manage relevant client communications Compile monthly reports in accordance with procedure Attend monthly commercial and subcontractor meetings Resolve client/subcontractor disputes effectively Timely submission of claims/notices in accordance with contract provisions Document cost changes to the work scopes and prepare monthly valuations and final accounts  Skills, qualification & experience: 8+ years' experience in a similar role Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills Attention to detail and analytically proficient Data Centre experience is advantageous Benefits Opportunity to work with a Market Leader in the Data centre Industry Supportive career development Competitive salary package Collaborative team environment Pipeline of project growth Winthrop Technologies Ltd are an equal opportunities employer
